Shopper Activation Trainee : About the Opportunity

A new interesting opportunity has become available within the Consumer Healthcare team for a Shopper Activation Trainee role. In this role you will be accountable for understanding and building knowledge in the Shopper Activation Area, by working on specific tasks and projects. You will be directly reporting to the Shopper Lead, you will act as support to the local Trade & Shopper Marketing team in the activation of the Portugal CHC business main categories.

About growing with us In this role you will. :

• Support and implement local shopper activation plans, working in close connection with Shopper & Brand Leads teams.
• Work together with Shopper colleagues and Sales team to align priorities, implement point of sales activities (merchandising; detailing) and implement corrective measures.
• Assure a great communication with Field team.
• Update reports, deep dive into figures, work with external & internal data to make activation decisions.
• Support and implement MCE (eg. newsletter, e-learning platform).

About you Qualifications/ Education & work experience :

• Educated to university degree; business or Marketing management qualification preferred, with Marketing orientation/specialization (interest or experience in developing products/brands).
• Analytical skills.
• A people person, highly effective in working with other.
• Accountable in ownership of timelines, business meetings and outcomes of tasks; proactive in attitude and in seeking information/solving challenges.
• Ability to plan work, prioritize workload and manage colleague requests.
• Other “Soft Skills”: self-motivation; ability to manage, integrate and report data; patience and positive outlook even in times of challenge; diplomatic style; problem solving.
• Solid Portuguese and English communication and presentation skills for his level.
