Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Turbine Control Software > Advanced Sensing & Diagnostics The Advanced Sensing and Diagnostics Sub Module is part of the Turbine Control Software Module within Vestas Power Solutions. We are responsible for delivering the software for the most complex sensor solutions, including Wind Sensing, Tower Accelerations and Blade Load Sensing. Next to providing this software, it is part of our DNA to validate and verify our solutions on real data to ensure best-in-class quality. Furthermore, our mission is to create smart sensor signals, which enable the turbine to run more efficiently and enable us to detect current and potential future defects to improve our service business and thus create value for Vestas and our customers. Responsibilities Drive best practices across the team together with the functional leads Ensure Simulink Standards are improved and introduced using model based design Enable the team to work efficiently with Data Develop new algorithms for smart sensing and diagnostics solutions Together with the team ensure on budget and on time quality project deliverables Conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint potential turbine performance issues together with our stakeholders Qualifications A Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Control Engineering or any related subject At least 7 years of experience in embedded software delivery with experience working with Simulink and Matlab. Familiar with Bitbucket, Jira and other Atlassian tools, C++ coding skills would be highly advantageous A physical or data analytical background, which enables you to understand turbine physics easily and process large sets of data efficiently Previous experience with guiding a team toward technical deliverables Competencies A highly accountable and motivated individual who serves as a role model, enabling the team to perform at their best within an agile framework.
