We produce a range of explosive chemicals and detonators distributed to Mining, Quarry, and Infrastructure sites across Europe, supporting blasting processes for various projects. Reporting to our Senior Manager-Manufacturing Center, you will be a pivotal member of the Aljustrel team, taking accountability for the safe and efficient production of explosives. What you will be doing As a Product Line Manager, you will be the single point of accountability in the relevant production processes for safely, quality and efficiency, producing the line product on time and in full. The Product Line Team execution activities will be critically supported with plans, systems, procedures and provided by the other departments of the Manufacturing Plant and therefore the Manager - Product Line shall work collaboratively to ensure the support enables Product Line objectives across SQDC are achieved. Responsible for ensuring the safety and health of the Product Line Team (PLT). Ensure compliance with environmental requirements, as well as product quality and volume to meet market and customer requirements. Execution of the daily and weekly maintenance plan, including repairs and shutdowns. Analysis of production costs, product unit costs, product line budget, continuously managing relevant business agreements. Team management, including training, performance evaluation, recognition, and rewards What you will bring Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields or related discipline; More than 10 years’ work experience, preferably in Experience in Chemical Manufacturing Environment or Major Hazard Facility, Discrete Manufacturing, Heavy Industry; + 2 years technical experience specifically in the relevant discipline; + 5 years relevant leadership experience. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to the region Fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese/Spanish. General ability to make and influence decisions. Possessing integrity, being trustworthy, resilient, and flexible. Ability to work with and manage a team.
