Position Description : CGI is looking for Olympic Application Support to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

  • Provide functional support to Olympic users
  • Ensure technical support to batch related issues, resolving on time
  • Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with Application
  • Define the hotfix and workaround requirement related more complex reported issues
  • Contribute to the preventive maintenance by providing permanent fixes
  • Adhere to Service Level objective target and follow roadmap
  • Ensure adherence to APS support shift plan in terms of mailbox, web portal and hotline
  • Ensure Escalate timely to Head of APS on possible risks, escalation matters and management issues
  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding service, troubleshooting and resolving issues from Business teams
  • Ensure that the all production deliverables are aligned with bank standards and best practices
  • Service monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of the service quality and availability.
  • Part of production support team (i.e. Weekend/Public holidays)
  • UAT involvement by performing management, technical tests, assist users and production implementation for new projects, evolution and delivered program patches

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related to technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Total of 5+ years of experience as first & second-line (L1 and L2 support) IT Application Support for a business within a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Experience as IT Analyst / Business Analyst with private banking or asset management
  • Good understanding of Wealth Management business processes.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Applications: Olympic knowledge
  • Operating Systems: OS400,
  • Languages: IBM ILE, COBOL400, Micro Focus COBOL, RPG400
  • Database: SQL400
  • Other: CFT, IBM CDC and MQ, API
  • Methodologies: ITIL

SKILLS REFERENTIAL:

  • Critical Thinking
  • Communication - Fluent in English both verbal and written communication
  • Extensive experience in daily verbal and written communication with a diverse group of people: business users, IT teams, managers
  • Detail oriented, analytical and excellent follow through
  • Excellent work ethic, self-starter, autonomous
  • Ability to learn from experience and from informal/formal instructions
  • High level of persistence, can-do attitude, pro-activeness and maturity
