Inspired by the exciting new challenges associated with this revolution, Forvia anticipates the future of mobility developing cutting-edge solutions for smart life on board and sustainable mobility.If you’re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Forvia is the place to be.Bragança site looking for a Material plannerOverall responsibilities and duties:The role of a Material Planner is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs.The main missions of the role are:o Build up the Procurement Program by splitting up and levelling pieces procurements o Follow up the Procurement Program realisation by managing alert systems and follow the unloading, receipt and the transportation of pieceso Follow up the delivery performance of suppliers (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners and propose improvement action plans o Check if the capacity defined by the PIC (Sales and Production Plan) can be supported by suppliers and set up corrective actions when necessary o Achieve the transportation program on a monthly basis, and the transportation scheme half-yearly o Direct packaging management o Ensure that logistics conventions complyance with purchasing objectives and support conditions set by supplier for procurement and packaging, and by logistics partners for transport and serviceQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have/be:Minimum education level: Degree in Engineering, Management (preferably) or similarExperience :Experience in production in an industrial environment Skills and competenciesEnglish SAPExcelSupplier SchedulingInventory segmentation7 Inventory Basics Forvia Values: Drive, Accountability, Teamwork, Agility, Respect, Open-mindeness
