Java Software Engineer (M/F)

Where no two days are the same.  YOUR ROLE   Design, implement and own data-intensive, high-performance, scalable platform components; Work with engineering teams, architects and cross functional partners on the development of projects, design, and implementation; Conduct and participate in design reviews, code reviews, analysis, and performance tuning; Coach and mentor engineers to help scale up the engineering organization; Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack. YOUR PROFILE Autonomous with Java and Spring Boot environment; Knowledge of Java frameworks ( Java & SQL, Spring Boot & Data, JPA/Hibernate, REST API implementation, GIT/Maven); Strong problem-solving skills; Excellent teamwork and communication skills; Professional experience with technical analyst-development; Good communication skills; English Level: B2/C1; Based in Portugal.   JOB RESPONSABILITIES Work closely with development teams to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the Java platform Provide technical leadership for application architecture, technical design, and programming Provide technical leadership for all Java environment areas including code reviews, build automation, source control, and configuration management Work closely with web developers to develop internal tools and platforms for the build process Provide technical leadership for software development methodology, including code reviews, unit tests, and code style Provide subject matter expertise for application security, performance, and scalability Provide technical leadership for the continuous integration and continuous delivery process Develop and document best practices for team collaboration, estimating, productivity, software architecture, technical design, and documentation Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT WORKING WITH HERE Enjoy a supportive atmosphere promoting work-life balance.  Join a multicultural and inclusive team environment.
