DEVELOPMENT SERVICES – TEAM LEADER (HYBRID) Portuguese company hires for remote/hybrid work CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN PORTO / PORTUGAL FLUENT PORTUGUESE AND ENGLISH (B2+)  SEND CV IN ENGLISH Description We are seeking a seasoned IT professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead a Development Services team. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the development and maintenance of our web, mobile, and hybrid applications, as well as APIs and integrations. Responsibilities: • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of developers, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment. • Project Management: Oversee the development lifecycle, from project inception to deployment, ensuring timely and quality deliverables. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise, architecting solutions, and ensuring adherence to best practices. • Development: Hands-on involvement in development tasks as needed, contributing to the team's output. • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Must have: • Proven experience of minimum 5 years in leading development teams. • Minimum 10 years of experience in full-stack development skills, including proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Node.js, React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript). • Experience with web, mobile, and hybrid application development. • Solid understanding of API development and integration. • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). • Experience with agile methodologies ( Scrum, Kanban ). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Nice to have: • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with testing frameworks and automation. • Proficiency in additional programming languages or frameworks.
