Position: Devops Engineer (AWS, Java, Kubernetes, Terraform) Location: Venda do Pinheiro, Lisbon, Portugal Work regime: flexible hybrid - 1st month of work: once a week in the office (20% on-site) - After the first month: 1 to 2 days a month in the office (on-site regime up to 5%) Our client is one of the leading parcel companies in Portugal, with an extensive network of agencies and Parcel Shops. It has established a stable European shipping network, covering many countries and some US states. Over time, it has expanded its portfolio with innovative solutions to serve the parcel market, especially in e-commerce. Responsibilities and Tasks of the Job - Designing and architecting solutions for existing client facing applications as they are moved into cloud environments, such as, AWS; - Designing and building tools as well as frameworks that support deploying and managing our platforms; - Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements; - Supporting and troubleshooting scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, back-up and restores of different environments; - Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions; - System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains; - Create, maintain and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines; - Work with Cloud Infrastructure team on Cloud migration of applications. Mandatory Skills - Several years of experience as DevOps Engineer; - Strong development background in Java; - Strong experience with AWS; - Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform; - Ansible know-how; - Good English skills, both spoken and written; - Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on companys success; - Team Player; - Available for travelling abroad.
