Apply now and be a key player in our success story in Porto as a Procurement Specialist.As a Procurement Specialist, you will be accountable for one or more local or regional procurement categories and its suppliers, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders and ensuring a close communication with both requestors and suppliers. In your new role you will:Be responsible for a medium to large procurement volume for products and servicesDevelop a local and global procurement strategy including market analysis to identify alternative local and global procurement sourcesBe responsible for the commodity groups in charge as well as for the KPIs target setting and monitoring ( cost reduction) including regular reporting of the negotiation resultsDesign framework agreements ( through master agreements) for the corresponding commodity groupsConduct the annual supplier evaluationsBe a sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomePlease note that this is a maternity cover position with a fixed-term contract of 2 years.You demonstrate a strong customer orientation that helps you to quickly establish successful cooperations. You are target driven and passionate about profit. You have a self-driven working style and are willing to take responsibility, being able to work independently and to structure your own work.
