Purchasing Engineer (f/m/div.)

Job DescriptionYour contribution to something big: Within Bosch group, you will be part of an international project team focused on the development of fire alarm systems. Together with engineering department, as a Technical Buyer you will be supporting product development through awarding of new business towards suppliers. For that you will:Ensure project timelines and needs, as well as the components release and material availability until start of production;Award on components/products for new projects or transferred projects, following the BT/Purchasing supplier strategy;Ensure sample approval and component or product release;Issue initial tool order and contract of loan;Manage with suppliers that quality requirement passes and are discussed ( Technical Supplier Discussion input about tolerances, process capability, machine capability, process layout, test planning, measuring capability etc);Hand over all technical and commercial information to Strategic Purchasing.QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:Education: degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar;Experience: previous experience in technical purchasing;Know-How: knowledge of preventative quality methods. Knowledge of supply chain activities and logistics. Knowledge of project management and negotiation methods and strategies;Work Style: Methodic and analytical way of working. Ability to take responsibility for own work and initiative to drive solutions implementation. Ability to work in an international team environment and in a cross-functional team;Personality: Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
