Industrial Engineering Leader Contract Type Permanent Country PORTUGAL Location Santa Maria da Feira Your opportunity We are seeking for an Industrial Engineering Leader in our Santa Maria da Feira plant. Integrated to a team of 2, you will play a key role in supporting local production of conveyors, participating to upskill our manufacturing processes. Your Mission Project developments :Participate in the design of equipment to integrate industrial design and assembly constraints as soon as possibleParticipate in the control of equipment costs with the purchasing departmentsArbitrate the choice of the method of supply of machine components in accordance with the manufacturing processSupervise the prototype assembly process in order to solve manufacturing and assembly problems as soon as possibleDefine pre-series and serial manufacturing processes as part of project development milestonesDesign the workshop tools necessary to manufacture equipmentProduction support (Making sure to make technical documentation available)Supervise the industrialization of assembly processes in order to reduce manufacturing times Oversee the optimization of assembly processesActively collaborate in the reduction of customer and internal non-conformitiesSupport to purchasing and quality departmentsParticipate in the development of strategic suppliersParticipate in the development of critical components requiring in-depth technical expertise in various disciplinesWithin the Industrial Methods DepartmentAt the request of the department managerImplement internal proceduresLead continuous improvement actions Your Profile Educationand Languages :Mechanical knowledges (automatism notionsappreciate)English (technical, and conversational basis)Key leadership Behavior :Engineer beginner accepted with minimum industrial apprenticeship experience or Tehcnian with 3 years of experiencesSoftware: Solidworks / ExcelSpirit / working team, open-minded,technically curious; patient & respectfulPragmatic, results-oriented andon-field-actions ; pro-active in solution proposalPriorities management(multi-tasks/projects) and synthesis capacities (action logs, reporting /presentation, meeting management)Occasional travels to be expected
